An umbrella body for compassionate service across India

Jeevandan Charitable Society (JCS) is a registered non-governmental organisation committed to social upliftment, education, healthcare and community empowerment. Founded on principles of compassionate service, it acts as an umbrella body overseeing multiple social, educational and developmental initiatives across India.

Operating across Delhi NCR (Duhai), Sahibabad, Jaipur, Ratlam, Haldwani and Rishabdeo in Udaipur district, JCS supports underserved populations, empowers women, and provides educational and developmental opportunities to children and persons with disabilities.

Navchetan Disability & Rehabilitation Project

Rehabilitation, special education and social inclusion for children with physical and mental disabilities, using a Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) approach.

A 50-bed hospital offering general medicine, eye care, national disease-control programmes and community outreach to those who need it most.

Tuition support, child-protection and health awareness, cultural programmes and skills training across eight communities around Motinagar.

Milestones

1992 · The beginning

An organised leprosy control programme begins

The society's journey began in 1992 with an organised leprosy control programme in the Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar districts.

2002 · Registered

The society receives its registration certificate

On 3 January 2002 the society received its Registration Certificate, giving the work a formal and accountable footing under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

2009 · Education

Nirmala Convent School, Ratlam is established

The CBSE-affiliated senior secondary school opened, guided by its motto “Love, Truth and Service”.

Growing

Healthcare, education and inclusion expand

From the 50-bed Jeevandan Hospital in Haldwani to educational centres in remote villages, the Navchetan disability project and the Rishabdeo hostel for tribal children.
